Meet us on the Cape

cape cod is accessible through a few different airports, train stations, & bus connections, as well as by car.

while hyannis airport (HYA) is the closest, if you’re further afield Boston Logan International (BOS) & Rhode Island T.F. Green International (PVD) are your best bets. These airports are still some distance to the venue however, so it is recommended that individuals either rent a car or take a bus to Cape Cod for greater accessibility around the peninsula.

by rail

if you’d like to take the train, you can follow Kate’s summer commute and get the Amtrak to Providence (PVD). alternatively, Boston South Station (BOS) is a bit further. As is the case with the airports, these stations are still some distance to the venue. It is recommended that individuals rent a car or continue their journey by bus to Cape Cod.

by car

we ultimately recommend someone in your party having a car over the wedding weekend, though there are taxis and ubers now in the area.

the cape is also served by charter bus lines that end at the Hyannis Transportation Center, typically from the airports & train stations listed here. The two main bus providers are Peter Pan and Plymouth & Brockton.

While there are additional bus services connecting Hyannis to the remainder of the island, the nature of public transportation in the U.s. means that it will be difficult to reliably get around in a reasonable time frame. We highly recommend someone in your party / network has a vehicle and/or planning your accommodation within walking distance of the shuttle or venue.

Friday night’s welcome party will take place at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post #8607 in Chatham, at 150 George Ryder Road.

There is ample parking and it is also accessible from the Old Colony Bike Trail! If you do wish to take the (longer) walk from the center of Chatham, we’d recommend walking the bike trail route off Wilfred Road rather than walking down Main.

Ubers and Lyfts are also available, as well as Cape Cab to book in advance. The venue is about 6 minutes drive from the Chatham hotels we’ve included below.

Please note this differs from the location noted on your invitation — we had to make a last minute switch, thanks so much for your understanding!

On Saturday, the ceremony & reception will take place at 207 Brick Hill Road in Orleans.

Valet Parking will be available, though carpooling is encouraged!

We’ve also arranged transportation from Chatham to the venue in Orleans ahead of the ceremony. Precise times and locations below:

3pm shuttle to venue from Kate Gould Park. Bus will depart from the parking lot next to The Impudent Oyster. Entrance on Chatham Bars Ave.

3:40pm shuttle to venue from The Cove Motel Orleans

Return shuttles will also be provided to Chatham and to The Cove & after party.
